Theatre Workshop or The Ballad of Ewan and Joan
It's been a fantastic journey, discovering the connections between Theatre Workshop, my home city of Manchester, and the City of Salford, where my Dad grew up.
We're delighted to share this new audio play with you in 2026, the City of Salford's Centenary year. I really enjoyed working with Alternative Stories, the stellar cast and Orpheus Studios. Recording the play was a brilliant learning experience for me.

Topical comedy and radio plays
I've been utterly thrilled to have material on BBC Scotland's topical comedy panel show Breaking the News, including their radio and TV broadcasts of 25th October 2024.
Is There Life on Mars, a topical space fantasy, was performed by The Radio Theatre Project on 25th March 2024. Another fun production from Florida! Available on SoundCloud.
Head in the Clouds, a romcom set over Lancashire skies, was performed by the Radio Theatre Project on 27th February 2023 and is available on SoundCloud.
Deep Encounter, a comic dive into convergent evolution, was performed on 22nd November 2021 by Radio Theatre Project LIVE and is available on SoundCloud.
My Octopus Lover, by Jonathan Kaufman, inspired by 'Deep Encounter', was performed as part of 600 Seconds: Futureshock, an evening of new short plays about near future technology, by Spontaneous Productions, on 19th February 2022.
Let's Dance was performed on 26th November 2018 by Radio Theatre Project LIVE at Studio 620, St. Petersburg, Florida. Set in 1949, it's a coming of age mystery drama with a range of colourful characters and a running time of around 40 minutes.
